Hiya dearies. I cooked this dish two days ago because the DH was having some meat cravings.

Rolled Pork 2

Tasty Rolled Pork

Cook Time: 35 minutes
Total Time: 45 minutes

Yummy rolled pork to satisfy your cravings!

Ingredients

  • 400 grams pork, thinly sliced crosswise
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 tablespoons red wine
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon Honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, chop finely
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • salt and black pepper (to taste)

Instructions

1.) Lay the meat and gently pound it out to about 1/4-inch in thickness.


2.)Using a tea strainer, sprinkle flour thinly over the meat.


3.) Roll the meat up as tight as possible.


4.) Put all the rolled meat in the fridge to firm up for 30 minutes.


5.) Cut the rolled meat into equal parts.


6.) Sprinkle both sides with salt and black pepper.


7.) Heat the pan and put some oil.


8.) Add meat and brown both sides.


9.) Turn the heat to medium low and let the meat fully cook through.


10.) Take the meat out of the pan and set aside.


11.) Cook the sauce using the same pan.


12.) Add butter into the pan


13.) When the butter has melted, add the red wine, soy sauce, honey and garlic.


14.) Add the meat back into the pan.


15.) Cook until the sauce has thickened, turning the meat to make sure all sides are coated evenly.


16.) Serve on a plate with your favorite salad.

Notes

You can add some balsamic vinegar and thyme to your sauce.
