Skipping breakfast is unhealthy as it’s one of the most important meals of the day. However, not all of us are early risers and not all of us feel like cooking in the morning.[no_toc]
If you have a halogen oven, you can throw away all those sugar-packed cereals and granola bars and enjoy a real food. You’d be surprised at how many delicious and healthy breakfasts you can make in your halogen oven with very little effort. Since a halogen oven cooks the food fast, you shouldn’t worry about running late for work. Read on.
1. Pizza bagels
Who said you can’t start your day with pizza? These jaw-droppingly tasty bagels will make the whole family smile with half-closed eyes. The original recipe features a toaster oven, but you can make your own pizza bagels in a halogen oven in less than 10 minutes. Bake them until the cheese is melted, for about 5-7 minutes. Feel free to experiment with the ingredient list. You can even make fruit pizza bagels, if you like, but make sure you reduce the cooking time to 3-5 minutes.

2. Egg Rolls
Gone are the days where people munched on the fried eggs with bacon for breakfasts. Today, we’re looking to more creative meals. Eggs rolls are versatile and they take about 15 minutes to make. The original recipe uses ground pork, but if you’re vegan or vegetarian, you can use tofu, avocado, or any other filling you wish. Let your creativity float!

3. Roast potatoes
When I was a child, I often had roasted potatoes for breakfast. The thing I now don’t like about those potatoes is fat. Halogen ovens are known for using little to no oil and fat, so don’t feel guilty of having roasted potatoes (sweet potatoes can be an option here too) for breakfast once in a while. They’re absolutely easy to make. You’ll need to wake up earlier, though, because roasted potatoes take around one hour to cook.

4. Roast Butternut and Spinach Quiche with Olives
When you combine two superfoods together, you get a nutrient-dense meal high in powerful antioxidants. Spinach is fortified with lots of essential nutrients while butternut squash contains 297% of your recommended daily intake of vitamin A in one cup. Adjust the recipe to your halogen oven and here you go!

5. Baked pancakes
Nourish your family with these incredible pancakes. Lower the temperature and cooking time in accordance with your halogen oven instructions. If you’re lactose intolerant, you can use any nut milk or yogurt instead of regular milk. Also, use a self-rising flour to make your pancakes much fluffier!
