Your family will still think you slaved away in the kitchen to cook the meal. While the recipe itself is done in a Dutch oven, the cook does suggest that you can use the roaster oven for this dish. Just make sure to brown the meat beforehand.

Baked beans are that perfect side dish for the summer when you are cooking hamburgers, hotdogs, and sausages out on the grill. If you plan on going on a picnic or to a family reunion, here is a baked bean recipe where you can make enough for large groups of people.

I found this good recipe that is so easy to make. One thing to keep in mind is that the recipe uses Northern beans that are soaked in water overnight. So give yourself enough cooking time to make the dish if you need it for a special event.

Roaster ovens are great cooking appliances that people use mostly during the holidays. Moreover, it is a bit different than a slow cooker (crockpot). While both electric appliances allow you to cook meals by using indirect heat at longer amounts of time, roaster ovens allow you to sear and cook meals at high-heat temperatures that can go up to 450 degrees. They also have an enamel coated steel interior versus the ceramic inserts that slow cookers have.
